Ryu Games and Riveted Games today announced a partnership in which the popular role-playing play-to-earn (P2E) game Cryptoblades will launch on the Flame platform, a growing Web3 games store and marketplace currently in beta. In CryptoBlades, players acquire legendary blades and the powerful Heroes who wield them and engage in combat using their assets to earn SKILL tokens. Starting today, Flame early access players can connect their digital wallets and then download Cryptoblades through the platform seamlessly.

Ross Krasner, CEO of Ryu Games, said: “Designing an immersive and balanced Web3 game is hard. Enabling players to find Web3 games like Cryptoblades in a highly fragmented market is near impossible, and this is what we’ve set out to solve with Flame. We’re continuing to bring on partners like Riveted Games during the early access stage and looking forward to scaling further in the coming months.”

Philip Devine, CEO of Riveted Games, said: “As we plan our growth strategy, reaching players and onboarding them efficiently is critical. Today, the Web3 PC gaming market is hindered by fragmentation and friction. Flame is helping us reach audiences with a better onboarding experience, and we’re thrilled to be bringing Cryptoblades to the platform today.”

Today’s news falls on the heels of recent announcements from Ryu Games on new widely popular Web3 games joining its Flame platform, including MagicCraftSwords of Blood, TokenLands, Ultimate Battle Arena, Minionverse, Splinterlands and Pegaxy.
