RIGHT ROYAL PROM OF BRITISH LIGHT MUSIC next Friday (September 9th) in St Davids Cathedral I have programmed to celebrate 90 years of successful Fundraising by The Friends, and to continue marking HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – particularly as she is the only reigning monarch to sit in the historical Sovereign’s stall in the choir.
The entertaining programme reflects her love of TV & Radio Themes, Film scores & West End Musicals and promises to be tremendous celebratory fun with excerpts from My Fair Lady, (an audience SingaLong!, HMS Pinafore, Desert Island Discs, The Pirates of Penzance, Bond, 633 Squadron, Dambusters, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Corrie, and Paddington 2 to name but a few!
