Greenacres Rescue have benefitted from a donation of £1102 as a result of their yearlong partnership with local business Cleddau Insurance.

Greenacres became Cleddau Insurance’s first official charity partner last year, where they contributed a percentage of all their new policies to the charity. In addition, the assistant manager Donna John at Cleddau, challenged herself and pet dog, Fudge, to run a 100km over the month of October last year, and raised over £300.

The donation was made to Mikey Lawlor, who runs the Greenacres Rescue. The charity is based near Haverfordwest, where they look after all sorts of domestic animals, more commonly dogs and cats buy also pigs, cows, turkeys, pretty much any animal in need of care.

Mikey Lawlor, of Greenacres said:

“We really appreciate the donation from Cleddau Insurance, which goes a long way in the helping of this charity. Like most charities we have concerns with the winter months ahead and utility bills rising, all donations are very much appreciated.

Iestyn Page, commercial director at Cleddau, added:

“I’m so glad we can support this charity. The work Greenacres do in our community is fantastic, and the support and care they provide to almost any type of animal is exceptional.”
