The plunge in the value of the pound will lead to higher fuel prices for drivers as the year comes to an end.

DFDS analysed data from the European Commission fuel prices that show petrol prices all around Europe.

The data below shows Romania, Poland & France have the cheapest fuel prices in Europe, with Greece, Netherlands, and Germany having the most expensive price per liter. The United Kingdom comes in at 4th for the most expensive, meaning drivers are paying £1000 less per year, just across the channel.

DFDS also surveyed 1000 drivers, and 36% said they would go abroad to fill up their tanks, and 22% said they have already filled up their tanks abroad.
