Friday the 13th revealed as the most popular horror film to watch during Halloween

The spookiest time of the year is here and searches for ‘scariest movie on Netflix’* has seen an increase of 60% in just the past week alone.  So, with many Brits searching for a fright, Moon Bingo has conducted research** to reveal the number one horror films Brits’ watch-lists this Halloween season. 

1.      Friday the 13th (675%) 

2.      Terrifier (650%) 

3.      Hellraiser (550%) 

4.      Smile (500%) 

5.      Devil (200%) 

6.      It (150%) 

7.      Saw (140%) 

8.      Halloween Ends (130%) 

9.      Annabelle (130%) 

10.  Halloween (120%) 
 

‘Friday the 13th’ was revealed as the most popular horror film this Halloween, seeing a huge increase of 675% in popularity. Closely followed was Terrifier (650%) and Hellraiser (550%). Recent 2022 release, Smile and 2010’s Devil also featured in the top five films.
