Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid has welcomed TSW Training as its newest Corporate Partner.
Based in Bridgend, TSW Training is a learning and development provider with over 50 years’ experience in delivering professional qualifications and in-company training to organisations in Wales and across the United Kingdom.
The company specialises in management development and provides leaders and their teams with the skills and knowledge to improve productivity, safety and performance through its bespoke solutions and off-the-shelf qualifications.
As a Corporate Partner, TSW Training will work closely with the Chamber and connect with its members to support Welsh businesses through upskilling and development opportunities.
Chamber members will be able to access training in health and safety management, environmental management and leadership and management, in addition to fully funded apprenticeship qualifications.
Gareth Harris, Director of Corporate Relations at TSW Training, said: “As a leader in the Welsh learning and development field, we’re thrilled to join the Chamber as a Partner and give members priority access to our services. It is a difficult time for businesses at the moment, but our training courses and the funding we can access for our clients can help them upskill their workforce and be competitive.
“The qualifications we offer are industry-led. For example, we have just introduced a qualification that will help business leaders develop a strategic and operational understanding of environmental sustainability and how to move towards net zero. This is high on the Welsh Government’s agenda and our introduction of these courses has been driven by customer demand, particularly in the manufacturing and engineering sectors.
“The Chamber plays an incredibly important role in supporting the needs of business in Wales and we are looking forward to working with their team.”
Paul Slevin, Executive Chair of Chambers Wales South East, South West and Mid, said: “We are delighted to welcome TSW Training on board as Corporate Partners. Their expertise in professional development will not only benefit business leaders but their teams as a whole.
“A skilled, engaged workforce can increase productivity and innovation. However, our most recent quarterly economic survey shows that investment in training by 79% of businesses in Wales has either decreased or remained constant. By welcoming TSW Training as Corporate Partners, we are able to support our members and connect them with opportunities to upskill and invest in their people.”
