A massive 84% of UK employees who worked from home during the lockdown plan to continue working in hybrid mode in the future, according to government figures.
But with little preparation or track history to go on, many businesses are struggling to incorporate the ‘best of both worlds’ strategy.
For Stress Awareness Day (2nd November), Brother UK analysed geotagged tweets to find out which areas of the UK are reporting the highest stress levels due to hybrid work, and which are taking it in their stride: https://www.brother.co.uk/business-solutions/hybrid-working/where-does-hybrid-work-cause-the-most-stress
- Bolton is the UK city that’s most stressed about hybrid work, with 35.5% of relevant tweets exhibiting stress.
- Telford is the city where people feel the least stressed when it comes to hybrid working, with only 15.5% of tweets displaying stress.
- The London borough most stressed with hybrid work is Lambeth, with a 42.9% stress rate.
The Brother UK team also created an infographic to help decide if hybrid work is right for you – and if so, how to make hybrid work less stressful.
