Caerphilly Council tenants asked to update contact details

Caerphilly County Borough Council’s housing service, Caerphilly Homes, is asking its tenants to ensure the contact details it holds for them are up to date.

This comes in preparation for the Renting Homes (Wales) Act which, when implemented on 1st December 2022, means that all current tenancies will be converted to an ‘occupation contract’.

Council tenants do not need to do anything else as their current tenancy will automatically convert to the new contract.  However, tenants need to ensure their contact details are up to date so that the Council can send them copies of their new contract.

Letters are being sent to all tenants, along with a form for them to complete and return.  Alternatively, tenants can fill in a brief form on the Council’s website at: www.caerphilly.gov.uk/rentinghomes

Tenants with queries, or who require assistance, can call 01443 811434 / 33 / 32 or email rentinghomes@caerphilly.gov.uk
