Talgerreg Vintage Club has generously donated £1,000 to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Service at Bronglais Hospital.

The club held its annual vintage show on 17th September and donated proceeds to a service that has recently helped their members.

Stuart Hall, a member of the club, was recently referred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Service at Bronglais Hospital.

Cardiac rehabilitation is a medically supervised programme for people recovering from heart problems. It involves adopting heart-healthy lifestyle changes to lower the risk of further heart and blood vessel diseases.

Emyr Evans, Chairman of Talgarreg Vintage Club, said: “Talgarreg Vintage Club is dedicated to supporting services that have gone above and beyond for our members.

“We had a very successful show and look forward to continuing to support worthy causes.”

Sandra Baker, Assistant Nurse Practitioner for the Cardiac Rehabilitation Service, said: “The Cardiac Rehabilitation Team gratefully accepted the donation, and the monies will benefit the service immensely as it moves forward.”

Bridget Harpwood, Fundraising Officer, said: “The Cardiac Rehabilitation Service is highly thought of and valued within our community. Donations such as these will help the team to provide activities and services above and beyond what the NHS can provide. A huge thank you to Talgarreg Vintage Club for your generous donation!”
