Online Radio Station For Swansea Shortlisted For Regional Awards

Swansea based online radio station, XL:UK Radio, have been shortlisted for the prestigious Business Growth Wales Awards 2023 in the ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Brand Impact’ categories.

The radio brand launched in November 2020 & was set up by station manager & founder Abid Hussain along with business partner & co-founder, Dovvdas Venslovas. Both have more than 20yrs+ worth of combined experience and are incredibly passionate about all things Radio related. And it’s easy to see why with a great amount of hard work & dedication that’s gone into the station, with Abid stating –

The station has been making huge progressive strides and have managed to also achieve becoming an affiliate partner of Swansea Arena with promoting the latest music and events from the Swansea based venue as well as succeeding to get onto the Cardiff DAB Multiplex which launched in late 2022.
