Can Swansea make a serious push for promotion next season?

Swansea City FC recently revealed that they are working on a plan to bring in several new players in the summer break.

With a few shrewd signings and with teams like Burnley, Sheffield United and Middlesbrough out of the picture because they all look certain for promotion this season, Swansea could potentially push for promotion to the Premier League next season.

Current league standings

Can Swansea push for a top-six finish in the current 2022/23 Championship campaign?

To find out if Swansea can finish in the top six by the end of the season, it would be a good idea to

check the latest odds from several of the most trusted bookmakers online today, and then compare those odds.

A great site you can turn to is the official DAZN website. At the time of writing, you will see that Swansea are currently priced, on average, at around 16/1 in UK fractional odds to finish in the top six at the end of the season.

This equates to 1600 in American/moneyline odds and 17.00 in decimal odds. It also means that Swansea only have a 5.9% implied probability rate of finishing in the top six.

They have a lot more work to do if they want to get in the top six, let alone get promoted to the Premier League, but anything can happen in football. They won’t get promoted this season, but you never know what the future may bring next season.
