Customers in Swansea can now get connected to ultrafast broadband via YouFibre, which is bringing fast, reliable and affordable internet to homes and businesses across Wales.

Jean Oldham and family are amongst the first people to experience YouFibre’s ultrafast internet in Swansea after being connected to the company’s 1 Gigabit package which offers broadband speeds up to 17x faster than the UK average.1 To put this into perspective, this is fast enough for households to stream over 20 TV shows or 200 songs on Spotify all at the same time.2

Commenting on her new ultrafast broadband connection, Jean said: “We had been with our previous internet provider for 25 years and I’d been looking to change as, in a house of gamers and home workers, the service provided by them wasn’t great and it was very expensive for what we were getting. Since YouFibre’s installation, we’ve had zero issues and gaming and working has greatly improved! Trust me, when you have a gaming/live streaming teenager in the house, you need good internet speed!”

The connection is part of YouFibre’s mission to supply homes and businesses in Wales with access to full fibre broadband. To support these customers, YouFibre offers a friendly UK-based Customer Service team and is rated ‘Excellent’ on Trustpilot.

Ryan Battle, Managing Director at YouFibre, comments: “We are proud to be providing ultrafast broadband to residents in Swansea. The community has been calling out for improved internet speeds that allow them to work, stream, game and browse stress-free. With our rapid full fibre offering, residents will be able to join our reliable, ultrafast network at an affordable price. Plus, to give families complete reassurance during this challenging time, we’ve committed to a price freeze throughout 2023. This means our customers will never face unexpected mid-contract price rises.”

YouFibre will be continuing to connect homes to its ultrafast service in Swansea in the coming months. Residents can find out if their property is ready to be upgraded by visiting YouFibre’s website.
