Commenting Welsh Liberal Democrat Leader Jane Dodds said:
“I have made access to dentistry one of my top priorities since being elected and the issue regularly fills my inbox, one thing is abundantly clear, NHS dentistry in Wales is on life support.
“With 15,500 people waiting for an NHS dentist in Cardiff and the Vale and 800 children waiting in Powys, Labour is sitting of a crisis of epic proportions.
“Labour must commit to actually meeting face-to-face with the BDA to discuss issues around the contract reform.
“I will also continue to call for Labour to raise NHS funding per head to similar levels as Scotland and Northern Ireland.”
