First person to run all 189 of Wales’ mountains in one trip and President of Ramblers Cymru, Will Renwick comes to Llanelli

When Will Renwick set out on his challenge, he had no expectation of completing. A solo and self-supported 500-mile run taking in all 189 of Wales’ mountains. It soon transpired, however, that positivity, determination, and the will to support an important cause would carry him far further than he could ever have imagined.

Will achieved this incredible feat of endurance in a record-breaking time of just 23 days and raised an incredible £12,500 for Mind Over Mountains, a charity which works to restore mental health through nature.

Will Renwick will be appearing on stage at The Ffwrnes Theatre in Llanelli on Saturday 11th March as part of the Kendal Mountain Tour 2023, where he’ll be sharing his incredible personal story and epic tales from his recent adventure.

The event, part of the Kendal Mountain Festival UK Tour, also features award-winning adventure films from those creating waves in the worlds of cycling, skiing, mountaineering, swimming, and regenerative farming – to name just a few!

Steve Scott, director of Kendal Mountain Festival and Tour presenter says: “Kendal is all about adventure; stories of extreme human endurance, breath-taking environments, and adrenaline-fuelled excitement. Our Tour events are mini festivals that distil this spirit of adventure and exploration into one unique evening.”

Tickets are priced at £13.00 and £9.00 (concessions) and are available to book with the Theatrau Sir Gâr box office on 0345 226 3510 and online at www.theatrausirgar.co.uk
