Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens Hampshire Introduces New Orangery Suites

Sam Aziz, General Manager of Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens, Elite Hotels’ grand Victorian Grade II listed hotel, located in the pretty countryside setting of Rotherwick, Hampshire, is pleased to announce the completion of its new Orangery Suites.

Carrying on the aged-old tradition when great houses would have an orangery to symbolise distinction, the new Orangery Suites epitomises just that. Four large suites, spread across two floors have been sympathetically restored so that the contemporary furnishings harmonise with the 18th century Orangery.

Sitting in 66 acres of stunning countryside and looking out across a Victorian water garden, the suites are located near the once impressive stable block, which now accommodates the hotel’s indoor swimming pool and gymnasium. Designed for couples, families, and business executives wanting to experience luxury accommodation in a more tranquil setting – each suite has its own private terrace area – perfect to enjoy some privacy away from the main house.

Thoughtfully appointed, the Orangery Suites interior design have drawn upon the historic surrounds of Tylney Hall, by working subtly to weave in some of the area’s backdrop. Clever elements of Tylney’s stunning landscaped gardens are interspersed amongst the furnishings, with warm country tones complementing carefully sourced soft furnishings and artwork, conveying a relaxed and peaceful, yet distinguished, countryside ambience.  Elegant bathrooms with large walk-in rainforest showers provide a feeling of tranquillity, and with Elite Hotels efforts to minimise waste, built-in Molton Brown refillable toiletries have been installed to help address the impact on the environment, without affecting the guest experience.

The Orangery Suites are the latest addition to the hotel’s rolling refurbishment. They join the recently completed 12 Executive Guestrooms, which are located in the courtyard, overlooking the manicured gardens.

Tylney Hall commands stunning uninterrupted views, lined by giant Redwoods.  The renowned British horticulturist and landscape artist Gertrude Jekyll-designed gardens are a real highlight, with striking water features and lakes, an Italian Garden and a wild orchid meadow, plus azalea and rose gardens. There are walking and jogging trails, and garden tours are available in the summer months with Head Gardener Paul Tattersdill. Plus, the hotel participates in the NGS (National Garden Scheme) garden open days, which take place Sunday 16th April, Sunday 14th May and Sunday 11th June ’23.

Guests enter the hotel via Tylney Hall’s Great Hall, panelled in exquisite Italian walnut. The hotel has 113 individually-designed bedrooms and suites – all decorated in traditional style, in keeping with the hotel’s heritage – with dog-friendly rooms available.

The hotel’s Health Suite features an indoor pool, five treatment rooms with a Manicure & Pedicure studio plus a gym. There is a superb outdoor heated pool (open seasonally) set within a private walled garden, plus croquet, tennis court and a snooker room. Archery, clay pigeon shooting, and even hot air ballooning can all be arranged and there is a nearby golf course too.

Prices start from £195 per room (two sharing), including breakfast. For further information, please visit  www.tylneyhall.co.uk or call 01256 764881
