Isn’t it rich……in more ways than one ?
A prominent two-page article in the Welsh Press [4/4/23] was headlined “A 5G mast would be a complete and utter eyesore” . It stated that First Minister Mark Drakeford , Conservative Leader Andrew R.T Davies, Cardiff West MP Kevin Brennan and Plaid Cymru MS for South Wales, Rhys ab Owen ALL OBJECT to a 49 feet [15m] 5G mast…..a single POLE…. in leafy Radyr, North Cardiff. Meanwhile, NONE of them have ever uttered a word of objection to hundreds of monstrous 820 feet high wind turbines with 260 ft long, noisy, whirling , bird-killing blades …….on unspoilt mountains up to 2000 feet high……all over Wales….north to south, east to west …. in ten vast wind-energy approved zones! This takes NIMBYISM and hypocrisy to a completely new level !!! What an absolute disgrace ! ALL our Welsh politicians ….in ALL PARTIES….need to get real ! They should be ashamed of themselves!
Come on Messrs Drakeford and A.R.T Davies ! If you think a single 49 feet mast in a wealthy corner of Cardiff is an “eyesore”, how can you possibly approve of literally hundreds of absolutely gargantuan 820 ft revolving wind turbines all over our country??
Do you only represent Cardiff??
