First place for the most popular wedding trend for summer 2023 goes to the green-themed trend. This trend had 26,955 Pins on the image sharing platform. A perfect colour for a summer wedding, the green trend featured on a total of 107 boards on Pinterest. From flowers to tableware, there are many ways to incorporate this colour into your big day. One of the most popular green hues for wedding ceremonies is sage green, which Brides.com praises for its elegant ‘neutral feel and nod to nature’.
With a total of 25,080 Pins, the blue-themed wedding trend places second in the study. The trend also appeared on 97 Pinterest boards from 2022 onwards, cementing its popularity for the upcoming season. What is more, there’s been a great interest in navy blue wedding invites, which had a whopping 16,725 Pins. One of the best parts of a blue-themed ceremony is that the colour doesn’t clash with others, and ‘blush pink, deep burgundy, pretty peach, and pine green can all pair with blue’.
Following closely behind, with 22,980 Pins is the floral-themed trend. This trend includes statement pieces such as floral arches, flower-themed cakes or flower crowns.
