So where in the UK are the ultimate wild camping hotspots?
Inspired, travel enthusiasts at Motorcycle Insurance (https://www.motorcycleinsurance.org.uk) have created the ultimate list of 10 of the best wild camping hotspots in the UK to visit this summer and three are in Wales, with a combined search interest of 13,270 per month.

Taking sixth place overall, Wales’s best spot for wild camping is Llyn Peninsula with a combined search interest of 8,150 queries per month nationwide. The peninsula is renowned for its unspoilt natural beauty, with breathtaking landscapes that include rugged coastlines, rolling hills, and pristine beaches.
The Black Mountains, in the Brecon Beacons in Wales, is the second most popular for campers, placing seventh overall with 3,930 combined Google searches per month in the UK. The Black Mountains are a popular destination for wild camping enthusiasts. As the area boasts some of the most stunning scenery in the UK, with rolling hills, dramatic peaks, and pristine valleys providing an awe-inspiring backdrop for camping.
Taking twelfth place overall, but third for Wales is Carneddau with 1,190 combined Google searches per month. Carneddau offers a wide range of outdoor activities, including hiking, rock climbing, and mountain biking. The area is also home to a number of beautiful lakes and streams, providing ample opportunities for fishing, swimming, and other water-based activities.
