It’s interesting to read that King Charles is to surrender his lease on Llwyn y Wermod Farm, near Myddfai, back to the Duchy of Cornwall Estate. Leaks have it, that the master double bedroom has a very large painting above the bed’s headboard of a local scene painted by a local named artist. Was that painting loaned, or donated, or purchased for King Charles in his former role as Prince of Wales? Who now owns this work of art? If the present Prince of Wales is not to use the farm, or its bedroom, could this painting be offered up for a charity auction for a good cause to raise NHS funds in Carmarthenshire?

The present house at Llwyn y Wermod is after all only a converted stable block, basically a converted one time glorified shed,  after the historic previous owners neglected the original large mansion which they allowed to fall into ruin.

I. Richard,  Swansea.
