Dear Editor
Tŷ Hafan’s annual Family Fun Day is back for 2023 and my colleagues and I would be delighted if as many of your readers as possible are able to join us at our hospice in Sully for what promises to be a great day out.
This year our much-loved Family Fun Day, kindly sponsored by Cabot, will take place on Saturday 15th July in the beautiful grounds of our hospice on Hayes Road, CF64 5XX. Activities will run between 12 noon and 5pm.
Admission is just £2 per person with under-twos free of charge making this a very affordable day out which will include plenty of opportunities to enjoy live music, a range of food stalls, free games and activities, craft making and much more.
Attractions will include:
- A mini zoo for the children and adults
- Vintage cars and supercars
- Hog roasts, fish and chips, paninis and more food vendors
- Crafts stalls, jewelry, clothes and cake stalls
- Interactive activities
- Mini gym competition
In addition, if you have ever wondered what it is like inside the hospice itself, then tours of Tŷ Hafan are expected to be available on the day, depending on circumstances.
As you’re being shown around our hospice, you’ll get an opportunity to see where your donations go: straight to the essential services we provide for children with life-shortening conditions and their families.
You can book your Tŷ Hafan Family Fun Day tickets now at: https://www.tyhafan.org/product/ty-hafan-fun-day-2023/ Or you can call our Supporter Care Team on 02920 532 255 or email them on supportercare@tyhafan.org
It costs £5.2 million a year for Tŷ Hafan to provide vital care and support for children with life-shortening conditions and their families in our hospice and in homes and communities across Wales and less than 20% comes from statutory sources. In other words, without the amazing kindness, enterprise and generosity of the Welsh public we simply would not be able to do what we do.
So whatever else your readers may be planning for the summer, I’d encourage as many of them as possible to come down to Tŷ Hafan on Saturday 15 July for what promises to be a fantastic day out while helping some of the most vulnerable children in Wales in the process.
Thank you for your support.
Yours faithfully
Sarah Roberts
