Construction firm get new Head of Commercial

Persimmon Direct has appointed one of its own as its new Head of Commercial.

Ashley Legge has been elevated to the role in a designate capacity after four years as the business’ Commercial Manager.

In his new role, Ashley will report to Arwyn Evans, Managing Director of Persimmon Direct, and will be overseeing the South Wales-based company’s commercial department to ensure they successfully deliver their exciting groundworks and civil projects for both East and West Wales regions.

Ashley has over 15 years of experience in the industry and has been with Persimmon Direct for the last four years.

Commenting on the role, Ashley said:

“I am really pleased to be taking on this role in Persimmon Direct and look forward to making it my own. I’ve been with the company for four years already and can’t wait to build on what I have achieved so far.

“After 15 years in the industry, it has been really interesting seeing the different trends it has gone through, and the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead are ones I look forward to getting stuck into.”

Persimmon Direct Managing Director, Arwyn Evans, said:

“It’s great to see Ashley take on his new role in the company after seeing him flourish during his time with us so far.

“Ashley brings a wealth of experience from his time as Commercial Manager, so am sure he has plenty he wants be getting on with as he plays his part in taking Persimmon Direct from strength to strength.”
