We will be launching the COASTAL Open Studios Arts Trail on Saturday July 22nd at
12pm from Y Tŷ Celf – The Art House, 1 John St, Llaneli, SA15 1UH.
Artists and makers will be opening their homes and studios to the public for the week
of July 24th – 29th. The works on display will include painting, printing, ceramics,
glassware, textiles, wood, metalwork and jewellery. Go to https://www.ytycelfthearthouse.com/coastal-artstrail-2023 for the online brochure or call in at our gallery at 1 John St, Llanelli to pick one up.
Carmarthenshire is a unique place, with a proud heritage for creativity and we are
excited to focus on the artists, makers and galleries based in Llanelli and the south
coastal area of the County and to stretch to a few in Gorseinon.
This is an exciting step in encouraging local artists and makers and the general
public to connect and celebrate the wonderful range of creativity that we have
around us. With your enthusiasm and participation we hope this can become an
annual event that will encourage more art lovers to visit the area.
“The area is known for its strong community spirit and what better way to celebrate
that than getting out and visiting some artists’ studios! It takes some guts to open up
your studio or home to the public to show your work so enjoy the adventure and go
find the treasure!” Deb Chapman artist and Y Tŷ Celf – The Art House Director
