Brace yourselves, UK car owners. International Drivers Association conducted a light-hearted and completely unscientific survey. The result? A playful correlation between car models and… certain private dimensions of the drivers, as well as an insight into which UK cities have the biggest “endowments”.

  • Mercedes drivers topped our list, boasting an average measurement of 6.5 inches. These luxury enthusiasts clearly like to drive in style.

  • Land Rover drivers reported an average size of 5.8 inches. Clearly, their love for adventure and exploration isn’t confined to just off-roading.

  • Tesla owners, even the trendsetters, are packing an average of 5.7 inches. Maybe there’s something in that electric charge?

  • BMW drivers fell in the middle of our survey results, with an average measurement of 5.5 inches. Sporting luxury evidently mirrors their personal attributes.

  • Audi owners reported a somewhat modest average size of 4 inches. But with their preference for large, family-friendly luxury, it’s clear they know what matters most is how you use what you have.

  • Porsche drivers reported a slightly above-average size of 5.6 inches. Who knew that a love for speed and agility could suggest so much?

  • Jaguar drivers also reported an average size of 5.6 inches. It seems that their appreciation for British luxury extends beyond the cabin of their cars.

  • Honda owners presented an average measurement of 5 inches. Their reputation for practicality and reliability clearly goe beyond their vehicle choice.
  • Ford drivers reported a surprisingly above-average size of 5.7 inches. Seems like these drivers are more than meets the eye.

  • Finally, our Vauxhall owners showed an average measurement of 5.2 inches, proving that compact and efficient can also mean impressive!

Moving on from car models, our survey also asked respondents from different UK cities about their personal dimensions. Here are the top 15 cities:

  • Manchester – 6.1 inches

  • Edinburgh – 6 inches

  • London – 5.9 inches

  • Birmingham – 5.8 inches

  • Leeds – 5.8 inches

  • Glasgow – 5.7 inches

  • Liverpool – 5.7 inches

  • Bristol – 5.6 inches

  • Cardiff – 5.6 inches

  • Newcastle – 5.5 inches

  • Sheffield – 5.5 inches

  • Leicester – 5.4 inches

  • Belfast – 5.3 inches

  • Nottingham – 5.2 inches

  • Southampton – 5.1 inches

While this playful survey is all for laughs and not scientifically valid, it’s a fun and fascinating conversation starter.

Remember, whether you’re a proud Ford owner in London or a Vauxhall driver in Southampton, it’s all about driving with respect, living with confidence, and embracing life’s quirky surprises. (Hopefully that outro will soften the blow for some)
