Sports fans love collecting memorabilia of their favorite athletes – and it’s a thriving industry, as fans are willing to pay a LOT of money for items like autographed jerseys and rookie cards. Owning these collectibles is a way for fans to show their support for their favorite athletes and to own a piece of sports history. But how much are some of these items really worth? And which players have the most sought-after memorabilia?
In a new research, Betway examined the rookie cards and signed jerseys of the most prominent football stars and revealed those with the most valuable sports memorabilia.
The results show:
- Tom Brady tops the list of players with the highest-valued rookie cards ($8,602) and signed jerseys ($3,001).
- Patrick Mahomes maintains strong popularity, securing the second spot overall with high search volumes for his rookie card (103,000) and signed jersey (12,230).
- Micah Parsons, Dak Prescott and Lamar Jackson closely miss the top 10 by landing in 11th, 12th and 13th place.
