Heavy Fire Engines certainly need a lot of power on “a rescue shout” to get quickly to a fire, and on arrival to surge power the pumps. I often see a local Fire Engine topping up with fuel conveniently at my local Super Store when I’m shopping.Move to BinWill Rescue Vehicles be exempt from the hasty Carbon Free Agenda of Wales Government? As EVs become the majority vehicles, conventional fuel stations will inevitably close due to lack of business. This means that Rescue Vehicles will have to search for fuel outlets. Ironically Fire Engines will also be racing more frequently to Lithium Battery vehicle fires! My local Fire Engine may no longer be a regular sight in my local Supermarket Filling Station as it could be locked into a charger for hours on end at the Fire Station. Has Wales Government thought through this topic? Is anyone questioning this?I.
