After analysing the six FIFAe tournaments with global representations, Live Football Tickets found that four countries are the joint worst at playing FIFA – Bulgaria, Chile, Honduras and Turkey. With an overall FIFAe success score of only 0.3, FIFA esports teams in those four countries have won a total prize money of $1,000 in the 2022/23 season and have no record of ranking in the top 5.

A FIFA game enthusiast from the UK told Live Football Tickets how they see the rising of FIFA Esports the industry:

“I think it’s a great thing to have different types of games become popular in the esports scene. Most esports games are shooters, so it’s nice to see other genres become prominent. I enjoy seeing a game pushed to its limits, where people can leverage every bit of information they have about the game to gain an advantage.

“I think if FIFA wants to seriously compete and develop in the esports industry, they need to switch to a core model, stop releasing yearly games, just release one last FIFA game, and update it forever for free.”
