Year 9 girls at Greenhill School in Tenby took part in a variety of sporting activities recently which are on offer in the local community.

The event was organised by Sport Pembrokeshire in partnership with the school, leisure and local sporting community clubs.

“It was a very enjoyable morning with positive feedback from all of the girls,” said Cariann Griffiths from Sport Pembrokeshire.

“Hopefully trying out these different activities has given them the motivation and confidence to transfer from school sport to community sport.”

The sporting activities included Omnia Fitness and Spin by Tenby Leisure Centre and Drew, Basketball by Archie and Aled, Badminton by Jordan Hart and Dance by Imogen Scourfield from Kelly Williams School of Dance.

“Thank you to all the different organisations for supporting the event and to A-Level and LLS Pupils for the help of running the event as well as Gold Young Ambassador Imi,” said Cariann. “We also had donation of fruit from Four Seasons Farm Shop & Florist – thank you to them too.”
