Two Aberystwyth Town Women stars paid a visit to Hector’s Greyhound Rescue this week – and even got to name one of the centre’s newest arrivals.

Lucie Gwilt and Ffiona Evans went to meet the residents of the rescue centre in Llanrhydstud – and were especially happy to meet a female puppy who had been rescued earlier that week.

Centre founder Hayley Bradley invited the pair to name her – and they opted to call her ‘Cariad’.

“We were so pleased to meet Hayley, beautiful Cariad and all the rest of the lovely greyhounds,” said Evans. “We’ll definitely be supporting their work however we can in the future.”
