My jaw dropped when I read news of rural protectors claiming the harmless activities of stone-stackers, who erect little four feet tall balancing stone towers on top of our hills and mountains, saying these stones are destroying the upland environment , when they do not make a murmur about the numerous monster 820 ft tall Wind Turbines seriously designated for Wales’ magnificent upland scenery with all their inevitable service tracks and immense masses of steel and permanent concrete.
