Mumbles Rangers 2 – Llwydcoed AFC. 0
Mumbles Rangers got back to winning ways with a 2-0 Ardal South League Cup game at the Swansea Stadium Sketty last evening in front of a healthy sized crowd in the main stand.
A crisp evening was punctuated by the sounds of fireworks going off in the night sky.
The visitors Llwydcoed looked threatening in the opening exchanges and had a couple of half chances to take the lead.
As the first half progressed Rangers were starting to get a grip on the game and looked dangerous on the break with their talented young winger Joe Pelosi posing a threat down the middle and down the flanks with his pace.
Two second half goals sealed the Rangers cup win when Joe Pelosi got his deserved goal and midfielder Craig Spring added a second goal.
Late drama of a red card against Rangers late on didn’t change the course of the game.
Rangers manager Kurtis March was well pleased with his team’s performance and will now look forward to next Friday’s home Ardal SW league fixture.
