Sandra Miles, Professional Practice Development Lead Nurse at Hywel Dda University Health Board (UHB) has been named as a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Excellence Award winner.
These awards, announced at this year’s CNO Annual Conference by Chief Nursing Officer for Wales Sue Tranka, celebrate the exceptional contributions made to the nursing workforce, inspiring others, and for making a real difference to people’s lives.
Sandra, who works in the intensive care unit at Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen, was recognised for her expertise and knowledge gained and shared during her 30 years in critical care.
Sandra is deeply respected by her colleagues and shows great pride in all that she does.
