Recently, WWE have really been expanding their horizons with locations of hosting their Premium Live Events. Outside of regular trips to Saudi Arabia, we’ve seen them bring these shows to London, Puerto Rico and even our own capital Cardiff.
We also know they will head to Australia next February and there are rumours they may also head to France next year. However they have confirmed for definite that they are headed to Germany next August to host an entirely new event ‘Bash in Berlin’.
On August 31st emanating from the Mercedes-Benz Arena WWE will host the Bash in Berlin (not to be confused with the Great American Bash.) This will be the first time ever WWE go to Germany to host such a major event. And it again only further proves that WWE in recent times are more than ever truly putting the “World” back into World Wrestling Entertainment.
The event is of course taking place next August and was only just announced so apart from the date and venue there isn’t that much more information regarding the event yet. However by now any fans should be well aware of how consistently invested/great non US crowds are. And the energy of a show’s crowd can make or break an event. So if the German fans take any inspiration from other foreign audiences, we should be in for a great night next August.
