Local Insurance Broker Gives Back to the Community

Businesses and communities in and around Llanelli can benefit from greater support from one of largest independent insurance brokers in South Wales.

Davies Craddock, the longstanding local insurance broker of Llanelli, celebrates 45 years of commitment to the local communities by expanding their services and introducing a new management team.

Providing local communities with personal, property and business insurance, Davies Craddock stands out in its dedication to local support. In their commitment to maintaining excellent customer service, Davies Craddock proudly announce a revamped management structure.

Graeme Fox has been promoted to Head of Community Broking, leading the team in Llanelli, with valuable support from Ryan Williams stepping into the position of Broking Manager. Graeme will also be supported by Steffan Day who has been promoted into the role of Personal Lines Manager whilst Zoe Williams remains an integral part of the management team leading Commercial Lines.

In addition, having recently joining forces with Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking, the company are now part of the Benefact Group, which gives all their available profits to charity and good causes, every year. The company can now access a wider range of insurers and providers, whilst maintaining the personalised and friendly service that sets them apart, as well as giving back to the community.

New Management Team

Managing Director of Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking, Paul Short, explained the rationale behind the changes; “Davies Craddock are now part of Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking, although our people and service will remain the same. When it comes to business, nothing beats local knowledge for a personal service. Knowing an area has always meant we can provide more accurate quotes as we understand the issues and potential pitfalls in any given area. That is why we are keen to grow our Community Broking division and we are excited to now have Davies Craddock onboard as we recognise that they have the same service lead ethos as ourselves.”.

Giving back to the community

Paul added “Another benefit of the merger is that Lloyd & WhyteCommunity Broking are proudly part of the Benefact Group, a charity owned, international family of specialist financial services companies that gives all available profits to charity and good causes. They are the UKs third largest corporate donor to good causes. * Their “Movement for Good” campaign aims to donate to local causes, and they have already supported charities such as the Swansea Food Bank and The Penllergaer Trust”.

Anyone seeking to nominate a charity for funding can do so via the Benefact page at https://benefactgroup.com/.

The team also recently nominated local charity Foothold, for a Financial Services Charity Award through Aviva one of the insurers they work with. As a result, Foothold, who run a number of community projects, won a £5,000 grant.

Nigel Davies, one of the original founders of Davies Craddock, added “Working within the community we support local businesses and individuals with a range of insurance services. Now being part of the Lloyd & Whyte Community group means that we’re different. We combine the strength of a larger network of insurance brokers with the quality, personal service you expect from a smaller business and give back to good causes through Benefact.”
