As the excesses of Christmas fade and people turn their focus to a fitter and more virtuous New Year, the Pembrokeshire Coast Charitable Trust is offering a unique opportunity to get in shape and raise money for a worthy cause.
Four free entries are now available for this year’s IRONMAN Wales competition, which is set to take place in the south of the county on Sunday 22 September, 2024.
The popular event will see thousands of people take on the 2.4-mile swim, 112 miles of cycling and a marathon on foot along some of South Pembrokeshire’s most challenging routes this September.
Katie Macro, Director of the Pembrokeshire Coast Charitable Trust, said: “With general registration for the competition now sold out, this represents a golden opportunity to not only take part in this iconic event, but also to make a lasting impact on the preservation of our stunning coastal landscapes.
“If you’re passionate about Pembrokeshire’s great outdoors and love to tackle tough physical challenges, then please get in touch.
“Those interested in taking up the challenge would need to commit to raising a minimum of ÂŁ750, and the Trust would need to receive full amount pledged by the end of August.”
If you would like to take up the free entry offer, expressions of interest should be sent to support@pembrokeshirecoasttrust.wales.
