With blue waters looking out onto the Atlantic Ocean, drivers benefit from stunning scenery. With parking sparser than other locations in this ranking, you should make sure to be on the safe side and pack comfortable shoes as it may be a slight walk to the vantage points.

Keith Hawes, Director at Nationwide Vehicle Contracts commented: “When going on drives to a decided destination, parking should always be at the front of your mind when planning a trip. You want to make sure it is a secure and good spot.

“Safety will be a big concern as some roads near the best viewing locations will be secluded, so if it is dark on arrival or when leaving make sure you have torches, lights and other equipment to make the journey back to your car safe, along with making sure your cars don’t block any roads. This is also critical in case anything should go wrong with your car.

“Drivers should make sure to check parking rules and ensure the location is fit for your car. If the driver’s vehicle is not suited to go off-road in these locations, you shouldn’t do so.”
