Crete comes in first place with the highest number of hotels with yoga facilities at a total of 115. Crete is a perfect place for anyone looking to have a tranquil yoga experience in the sunshine this year.
Crete also has the lowest air pollution across all locations, with a score of 28.12.
Thailand takes two spots on the leaderboard as most tranquil location
Phuket, Thailand takes second place on the leaderboard for the most tranquil location. With the second most number of hotels with yoga facilities at 74 and the second lowest amount of air pollution with a score of 29.46.
Thailand’s capital Bangkok is also on the leaderboard in 7th place. Bangkok has a large number of spa’s to visit with 851 in total. So if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday break with a treatment or two, then Bangkok may be the location for you.
Busy cities such as New York and London also ranked highly
London ranked in 6th place, and New York ranked in 12th place. These cities might not be your first thought when it comes to tranquillity, but both boast over 700 spas and plenty of opportunities to get out and explore nature, so they’re the perfect option if you’re looking for a mix of adventure and tranquillity.
