According to Plaid Cymru Senedd Member Llyr Gryufydd, he claims, via BBC News,  to have ‘stood shoulder to shoulder with miners as they battled for their livelihoods forty years ago’. As he was born in late September 1970 he must have been missing school to have been on those picket lines. Where were his parents and teachers then allowing such a young boy to engage in dangerous battles away from home?  Perhaps he could explain this. Maybe he was in the ‘Boys Brigade’.

Either the BBC (quote below)  have got it wrong or Llyr Grufydd is saying Porkies!
Also there was never any Coal Mine or Power Station in Carmarthen Town itself where he lived.
