The Aloud Charity is excited to announce an opportunity to double your donation as part of the Big Give’s Arts for Impact campaign!
From the 19th to 26th March, we are aiming to raise £5,000 through donations, with every pound donated matched by the Big Give Trust, effectively doubling the impact of supporters’ donations to a potential amount of £10,000.
Why we need your support?
2024 marks 12 years of The Aloud Charity. During this time our work has improved the lives of thousands of young people by providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to find their voices. The event will raise awareness for how transformative the Arts can be for a person’s wellbeing, and no one believes that more than us!
As a small charity with no regular statutory or public funding the current climate is placing increased pressure on our ability to continue delivering an ambitious programme across Wales and we really need your support!
Donating to our Arts for Impact campaign between the 19th and 26th March will enable The Aloud Charity to continue to deliver our HUGE impact for young people across Wales.
Funds raised on our Big Give campaign page will:
- Support the recording and creation of a new Aloud album, featuring members of Only Boys Aloud, Only Girls Aloud and Only Kids Aloud.
- Provide an opportunity for choir members to take part in an exciting performance experience. This will help raise aspirations, strengthen friendships and expand horizons. Regular performances also improve soft skills such as teamwork and empathy.
- Deliver regular choir rehearsals to help increase confidence and self-assurance for young people in Wales.
- Develop inspirational partners – with local charities and organisations to support the wellbeing, opportunities, and positive experiences of choir participants.
- Be doubled! £10 turns into £20, £50 into £100! Donations to our project page will be matched for 7 days from 19th to 26th March, for one week only.
