On Monday, April 15th, Managing Director Jonny Davies and Contracts Manager Morgan Evans of Dale Building Maintenance will embark on an extraordinary journey to support Velindre Cancer Charity. The duo will be cycling to and from all of the company’s offices across the South West England and South Wales area, covering a total distance of over 365 miles in just three days.

The cycling adventure will commence at Dale Building Maintenance’s South Brent office, located in the scenic South West of England. From there, Davies and Evans will embark on a challenging route, with planned stops at the company’s offices in Southampton, Bristol, Cardiff, and Swansea. Their goal is not only to complete this ambitious challenge but also to raise vital funds and awareness for Velindre Cancer Charity.

Velindre, renowned as the “Hospital of Hope,” has been providing specialist treatment and supportive care to cancer patients and families for over 65 years. The funds raised through this initiative will support groundbreaking research, clinical trials, cutting-edge treatments, specialist nursing care, support services, therapies, and essential equipment, all of which go above and beyond the standard care provided by the NHS.

Jonny Davies, one of the cyclists and an employee of Dale Building Maintenance, expressed his excitement for the upcoming challenge and the opportunity to support Velindre Cancer Charity. “We are thrilled to be taking on this cycling challenge in support of Velindre Cancer Charity,” said Davies. “The work they do is incredibly important, and we are honoured to play our part in helping them continue their vital mission.”

Members of the public are encouraged to support Jonny Davies, Morgan Evans, and their fundraising efforts by visiting the official fundraising page at JustGiving here. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact in the lives of cancer patients and their families.

Through their dedication and commitment, Davies and Evans are not only covering miles but also spreading awareness and hope for those affected by cancer. Their journey exemplifies the power of community support and the determination to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
