In Season 4, some prominent changes to all Mythic dungeons have been made. For example, the timer was taken away from Mythic Keystone dungeons so that players could go through them at their own pace. Mythic 5 Keys in Season 4 are about the same in terms of rewards, challenge, and M+ grade as Mythic 15 Keys in Season 3. However, it feels as hard as a mega-dungeon. If you think the level of difficulty is too high, we suggest that you order the WoW Mythic boost service on a proven platform. Otherwise, you can test your strength and try to complete the dungeon yourself. If that’s the case, then make sure to read our boss guide for Halls of Infusion to make your gaming journey smooth.
Watcher Irideus: Tips and Strategy
The boss fight with Watcher Irideus has two stages, and each one is very different from the other. Once the boss starts to use his Ablative Barrier, Stage Two: Watcher’s Last Stand starts. Read the full guide below for more information.
DPS
The three Nullification Devices on top of the boss need to be knocked down as quickly as possible so that their Ablative Barrier effects can be taken away.
Tank
Point the head of the Titanic Fist away from your group. While the fight is still going on in Stage Two, use the nearby Nullification Devices to gather threats and stack them under the Watcher Irideus to break its ultimate defense.
Healer
When Watcher Irideus casts Static Surge, get ready to use healing cooldowns. The boss will sometimes give your team members the 3 Power Overload magic debuff. Throw out as many as you can, and then use the damage to heal the rest of your team. When the damage is done, a follow-up spell called Power Field will be cast.
Gulping Goliath: Tips and Strategy
Gulping Goliath is a second boss encountered in the Halls of Infusion that you will have to deal with. Adjust your strategy according to the following recommendations.
DPS
DPS should focus on eliminating the Curious Swoglets at the same time as they knock the boss down to get more done. During the fight, this is the only place you can use your party-wide abilities, like immobilization, slows, stuns, and knock-backs spells.
Tank
Watch out, Gulping Goliath’s auto-attacks will give you Gulp Swog Toxin. If no one in your group has a Poison for you, run away until the effect wears off to avoid dying for sure. Your DPS can eliminate all of their targets at once if you move Gulping Goliath closer to the Curious Swoglets.
Healer
As soon as Gulping Goliath casts Overpowering Croak, quickly heal your friends. Heal the target that gets Gulp in one place. This is a good spot to use an external defense, like the Restoration Druid’s Ironbark cooldowns! When the boss casts Toxic Effluvia, use healing cooldowns.
Khajin the Unyielding: Tips and Strategy
Khajin the Unyielding is the third boss in this M+ instance. Read the key tips and tricks to know how to defeat it.
DPS
You can arrange yourself behind an ice boulder before Hailstorm is cast. The ice boulder won’t block your view, so you can keep doing damage.
Tank
Move the boss closer to any Ice Boulders that are already there to make your physical attacks do more damage. DPS, when they leave close combat to hide while Hailstorm is cast.
Healer
Participants will be harmed by Polar Winds for the whole battle, so don’t forget to heal them often. Increase the health of party members that the Frost Shock hits and get rid of the slow that comes after it.
Primal Tsunami: Tips and Strategy
There are two parts to the Primal Tsunami boss fight: Violent Swells and Infused Waters make up Stages One and Two. You will fight on the main stage during Stage One until the boss has 100 health. Once it does, it will cast Cast Away and start Stage Two. When this stage starts, you’ll be sent back to the beginning of the bridge, where you started. Your goal is to get back to the boss. Remember that your team will be split in half, with three players in one hallway and two in the other. Also, the Crashing Tsunami will be back! This is a more in-depth account of the fight.
DPS
The faster you cross the bridge during Stage Two of the fight, the faster you can beat the 4 Primalist Infuser and start fighting again. Save your extra movement speed skills for when the fight gets tough.
Tank
The boss can’t hurt the whole party with AoE damage if you stay in close combat at all times. Actively protect yourself when the boss casts Squall Buffet. It will not only push you back, but it will also use Focused Deluge as a follow-up effect. In close combat, you need to move as quickly as possible to stop him from casting Undertow, which hurts everyone in the group.
Healer
Primal Tsunami will sometimes cast Tempest’s Fury, which hurts all players in a wide area. Get ready to help your friends! Get rid of Waterlogged’s slow effect as soon as possible.
Conclusion
Season 4 of World of Warcraft introduces significant changes to Mythic Dungeons, enhancing the challenge and rewards. With revamped mechanics and new-old instances, like Halls of Infusion, players face intricate boss fights demanding coordinated strategies. Whether it’s battling Watcher Irideus, Gulping Goliath, Khajin the Unyielding, or Primal Tsunami, meticulous coordination among DPS, tanks, and healers is crucial. Adapting to each boss’s mechanics is key to conquering these formidable challenges.
