Today was the coroner’s hearing following the death of  Anna Llewelyn Roberts, 27, a young mum who died after she was hit by a car following a collision on the outskirts of Pwllheli on Saturday, August 20 2022.

Slater and Gordon represented the family of Anna and have a statement, both in Welsh and English, from the family and Shane Smith, the family’s solicitor.

The family of Anna, said: “Our lives were shattered when we lost Anna, exactly 20 months ago. She was a treasured mother, partner, daughter, sister, grand daughter, friend and co-worker. There is no way of describing our loss, our grief and our longing for her to be back with us. Learning to live without Anna is devastating. We would like to thank our family and friends who have been there for us and that still stand with and support us, in our efforts to recover.”

Shane Smith, associate at Slater and Gordon, who is representing the family added: “The whole family has been through unimaginable trauma and nothing that is said today will bring Anna back. However, the family deserved answers surrounding what happened that awful night and lessons need to be learnt.”

Dywedodd teulu Anna: “Yn dilyn colli Anna union ugain mis yn ôl mae ein bywydau wedi chwalu. Roedd yn fam, cymar, merch, chwaer, wyres, ffrind a chydweithiwr arbennig . Nid oes modd disgrifio’r golled, y galar na’r hiraeth. Mae dysgu byw hebddi’n hunllefus. Diolch i deulu a ffrindiau sydd wedi ac yn parhau i’n cefnogi a’n cynnal.”

Dywedodd Shane Smith, cyfreithiwr o gwmni Slater and Gordon sy’n cynrychioli’r teulu,  “Mae’r holl deulu wedi profi troma difrifol a ddaw canlyniad heddiw ddim ag Anna’n ól ond mae ganddynt hawl i atebion ac mae angen dysgu gwersi.”
