Surveyor and rugby player Ciaran Davies is the 7/2 favourite with bookie BoyleSports to leave the villa loved up as the ITV show is set to get underway on Monday evening.

The twenty-one-year-old will be the youngest contestant to enter the villa this year and Love Island fans are already matching him up with fellow Welsh native Nicole Samuel. The world champion dancer is sure to have the moves to make an impression on the boys, and along with Liverpool lass Samantha Kenny, is the likeliest girl to be crowned Queen of the Villa at 7/2.

Semi-professional footballer Ronnie Vint is also rated a likely contender to claim a split of the £50,000 prize while Harri Blackmore, who was blasted as a ‘gold digger’ on social media last week, has seen her odds drift to 9/2 from 4/1.

The outsiders for this year’s show according to the oddsmakers include recruitment manager Munveer Jabal (5/1), Stockport native Jessica White (9/2) and salesman Sean Stone (5/1), who has already attracted the wrath of Love Island fans by admitting he had cheated in his last relationship.

Brian O’Keeffe, spokesperson for BoyleSports, said: “This summer’s Love Island has already had its fair share of drama before it’s even gotten underway, and while fans are eagerly awaiting the opening episode, punters are already hopeful that the £50,000 prize will make its way to Wales.”
