Responding to David TC Davies’ comments that all politicians are going to “get it in the neck” from disgruntled voters”, Welsh Liberal Democrat Leader Jane Dodds MS said:
“David TC Davies is completely out of touch if he doesn’t recognise that it is the extremely long list of scandals from his Conservative Government that is largely responsible for the public losing their faith in politics.
Combined with the donation scandal around the Welsh Labour First Minister of Wales this does paint a poor representation of politics. However, the Liberal Democrats are standing up on a platform to clean up Welsh politics including placing a cap on all political donations and banning the use of deletable WhatsApp messages in Government.”
