The Beatles Story Museum announces exciting line-up of summer events

Liverpool, UK – Following their announcement of a brand new exhibition ’60 Years of A Hard Day’s Night’, The Beatles Story Museum now announces an exciting line-up of summer events!

Ringo Starr’s Birthday 7th July 2024

You have the rare opportunity to participate in Ringo’s annual birthday wish for peace and love in his hometown of Liverpool!

Join Bev Carroll, the Ringo Peace and Love Ambassador for Liverpool, The Beatles Story team, Magical Mystery Tour team, Strawberry Field team and fellow Beatles enthusiasts in celebrating Ringo’s birthday wish to spread Peace and Love around the globe!

At noon, attendees will film a Peace and Love message to feature in Ringo’s annual campaign, which has been celebrated since his birthday in 2008.

Since 2008, Ringo has encouraged people worldwide to think, say, or post “Peace and Love” at noon local time on July 7th to fulfil his birthday wish of creating a wave of Peace and Love around the globe.

Ringo fans can continue the celebrations with a free presentation giving attendees the opportunity to delve into the life of birthday boy Ringo Starr, and fun crafty workshops for all ages.

International Beatleweek August 2024

The Beatles Story is excited to host two very special talks this International Beatleweek, with Ringo Starr historian and drum curator Gary Astridge.

Through more than a decade of direct interaction with Ringo Starr and a lifetime of detailed research, Gary Astridge has become the foremost authority on the legendary artist’s drums and drumming. With a combination of humour and humility, he brings his honest presentations to life, sharing his experience of working alongside the most famous drummer in the world.

In the evening talk, In Conversation with Gary Astridge, discover little-known facts about every drum kit Ringo played during his career with The Beatles. This event features Gary Astridge, the world’s leading authority on Ringo Starr and his Beatle era drums, along with acclaimed Ringo drumming style expert Rob Brian.

Reminder: TICKETS SELLING FAST! A Hard Day’s Night charity cinema screening

In celebration of the 60th Anniversary of ‘A Hard Day’s Night’, the ‘Fab Four’ Beatles Liverpool partners – The Beatles Story, Cavern City Tours (owners of The Cavern Club)Strawberry Field and Hard Days Night Hotel – have ‘Come Together’ to present a one-night-only charity screening of “A Hard Day’s Night” film at ODEON Liverpool One on Wednesday 10th July 2024.
