Burry Port Post Office is to re-open this month at a new location CK Foodstores, Gwscwm Road, Burry Port, SA16 0BT, which is a convenience store.

This will restore service to the community after previous postmaster resigned. The premises at 34 Station Road, Burry Port, SA16 0LP, were withdrawn for Post Office use in May.

We are keen to restore services to this community as soon as possible, so we have decided to go ahead with our plans.  Burry Port Post Office is due to re-open at its new location on Monday 9 September at 1pm.

After that the new opening hours for Bute Docks Post will be Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 1pm & 1.30 – 5.30pm; Saturday: 8.30am – 12.30pm.

This will provide 46 hours and 30 minutes of service a week for the convenience of customers.

The opportunity to give feedback on access into within the premises will close on 1 October. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 343642.
