The ConXtions LGBTQIA+ Project is once again holding a Winter Pride event. The event is a being held in Kidwelly and this year’s theme is ‘Say no to Hate’. The Winter Pride will be held on Saturday 14th December, between 10am and 3pm at The John Burns Centre, in Kidwelly.
Event Manager Keith Evans-Hurley said:
“Sadly over the past year we’ve witnessed a terrible rise in Homophobia and especially Transphobia. Sadly, some of it, very local.”
“This event will link in with our Welsh Government Cohesion Funded project ‘Say no to hate’ and will be a safe space for all members of the LGBTQIA+ Community and their Allies.”
The event will include a stall, support organisations, entertainment, speeches, and a LGBTQIA+ Art and Craft exhibition. Members of the LGBTQIA+ community who wish to sell or display need to contact the project to book a slot.
The event is open everyone, with no cost for entry, and parking is easily available. If anyone has any questions or would like to book a stall at this event, please contact the Project via email: info@conxtions.org.uk or call: 01554 556996.
“No hate of any kind will be tolerated at this event and anyone caught using any such language will be asked to leave or refused entry to the event.” Added Keith
