The Phil Harmonics Rock and Pop Choir have raised a fantastic £2,000 for the Breast Care Unit and £2,000 for Chemotherapy Day Unit at Prince Philip Hospital.

The Phil Harmonics are a choir who raise money for good causes, and they have raised over £60,000 in the last nine years.

Sarah Mair Richards, Founder and Leader of The Phil Harmonics, said: “We held a Charity Gala at the Diplomat Hotel in Llanelli on 6th July 2024 with over 250 guests in attendance.

“It was a joyful night with entertainment and a show from The Phillies. Local businesses generously supported us with wonderful raffle prizes. All the Phillies worked hard to make it a roaring success. The night was so much fun with lots of audience participation!

“We choose charities close to our hearts and local every year. We are delighted to support Hywel Dda Health Charities again. Thank you to all the local businesses that donated raffle prizes and all the guests who came along.”

Nicola Llewellyn, Head of Hywel Dda Health Charities, said: “Thank you so much to The Phil Harmonics for supporting us with your Charity Gala. Your donation will make a big difference to patients at Prince Philip Hospital.

“The support of our local communities enables us to provide services over and above what the NHS can provide in the three counties of Hywel Dda and we are extremely grateful for every donation we receive.”
