Dear editor
From visiting Christmas markets and trimming our trees, to visiting loved ones and indulging in our favourite treats, the festive season is here.
But did your readers know that saving stamps from your Christmas card envelpes can help support blind and partially sighted people all over Wales?
By donating these stamps donated to RNIB Cymru, we can turn them into vital funds, allowing us to continue our work on behalf of people with sight loss.
Collecting old stamps is an easy, low-cost way to support us, and can be done at home, in the office, or as part of a community effort.
We can make use of old or foreign stamps, postcards people have received, and even expired currency or cash from overseas!
We’ve made the process as easy as mince pie, all we ask is that your readers cut around any stamps they might have and pop them in one of our pre-paid envelopes or collection before posting them to us.
To get involved and learn more about how we use your stamps, just visit rnib.org.uk/stamps, or get in touch with us at RNIBStamps@rnib.org.uk or by calling 0330 002 0051. Get pre-paid collection envelopes or boxes for your stamps by completing the request form over at rnib.org.uk/stamps.
Wishing you and all your readers a very merry Christmas.
