2025 is set to be a big year, with Lana Del Rey, Coldplay, Katy Perry and Olivia Rodrigo all announcing tours.

Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter brings her ‘Short n‘ Sweet Tour‘ to the UK and Ireland and Dua Lipa announced a new UK date for her ‘Radical Optimism’ tour – performing at Wembley Stadium in London.

For those already planning their outfit, online fashion retailer Boohoo has analysed the biggest venues for 2025 tours and picked out the perfect bag based on each venue’s policy.

Wembley Stadium, London

Huge pop stars including Dua Lipa, Guns NRoses, and Lana Del Rey will take to the Wembley stage in 2025.

It is important to know that Wembley Stadium has specific rules regarding bags to ensure safety and streamline entry processes.

Bags larger than A4 size (21cm x 30cm x 15cm) are prohibited. This is roughly the size of a standard school notebook.

For pop and rock concerts like Guns N Roses and Dua Lipa, a small crossbody bag is perfect for these concerts where you are bound to be jumping up and down.

Safety is also key here, therefore a bag with a zip or a secure buckle is ideal, so when your hands are free it can be worn securely across your body, reducing the risk of losing your belongings.

Anfield, Liverpool

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, Billy Joel, Dua Lipa and Lana Del Rey are performing at Anfield in 2025.

Anfield’s bag policy says only A5 size or smaller (17cm x 30cm) bags are allowed, or bags purchased from the stadium.

An A5 bag is particularly small, smaller than an A4, therefore those going to Anfield should bring as little as possible.

A small clutch bag with a secure wrist strap or chain is an ideal option here. A clutch bag is elegant and restricts you from just taking your essentials.

3Arena, Dublin

Sabrina Carpenter, Snow Patrol and Billie Eilish are among the artists performing at 3Arena in 2025.

Bags no bigger than 40cm x 40cm x 20cm are allowed at this venue. This is about the size of a medium to large backpack, which is bigger than other UK venues.

Large rucksacks, luggage or oversized bags are not permitted and items such as bottles, cans, and selfie sticks are prohibited.

A small practical backpack under the measurements is the best option, and with practical pockets and secure fastening, you won’t have to worry about items being stolen.

Below, experts at Boohoo share expert tips for choosing the right bag and keeping your belongings safe before heading to a concert:

  • Always check the venue’s bag policy and opt for compact bags that fit essentials but stay within the size limits.
  • Bag style choice is important. Crossbody bags are secure and easy to access, whilst waist bags are hands-free and trendy.
  • Some venues require transparent bags for security. Therefore, look for a clear bag that is durable and stylish.
  • It is advised to look for waterproof or water-resistant materials to protect belongings from spillage, sweat or rain.
  • Multiple compartments help to keep items organised and minimise clutter. Money, phone, keys and tickets are the bare minimum essentials required
  • Zip lock bags can give you an extra layer of security and make it more difficult for pickpockets to steal your belongings.
