The Masked Singer Christmas special provided a huge surprise when show judge Davina McCall was unveiled as one of the contestants.
There was another Christmas special surprise when a huge doppelganger of The Masked Singer presenter Joel Dommett appeared on stage.
He then sang Hello by Lionel Richie, but let’s just say it wasn’t the best performance of the night.
After Giant Joel gave away several clues to his real identity, the real Joel revealed that his alter-ego will be unmasked on the first episode of the new series, which begins on Saturday night.
Gambling.com’s Entertainment Expert, James Leyfield has created a market on who could be on the Masked Singer.
Mo Under The Mask?
Since Giant Joel’s appearance on the festive special, there has been speculation aplenty about who could be under the mask.
Some fans came to a decision based on Giant Joel’s voice alone, with many predicting it could be Olympic legend Sir Mo Farah.
Mo is 5/4 favourite to be Giant Joel, but there are plenty of others in contention.
Fans X-Pect To See Rylan As Joel
Several other social media sleuths believe former X Factor star Rylan Clark, or Joe’s I’m A Celebrity: Unpacked co-host Sam Thompson, could be under the Giant Joel mask.
Rylan is the 13/8 second favourite, with many comparing the character’s voice to his Essex twang.
It’s 2/1 that former I’m A Celebrity winner Sam is Giant Joel, while EastEnders actor Joe Swash – Stacey Solomon’s husband – is 5/2. Fellow former Albert Square resident Dean Gaffney is 8/1.
Another potential candidate could be JLS singer JB Gill.
ITV favourite Stephen Mulhern (4/1) has also been mentioned, as has radio DJ Jordan North (9/2).
Crouch In The Frame
Peter Crouch is 5/1 to be under the Giant Joel mask, while it’s 9/1 to be ex-The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright.
Comedian and actor Jamie Demetriou is propping up the market at 10/1, but the Londoner certainly could sound like Giant Joel.
